In the video, I showed how it's blocked by a tree! They couldn't see him, so it's now a question of whether that was on purpose! They had a whole team in the second floor of that building too and could poke their heads out and see the shooter if they had wanted to!
There were two counter-snipers on the building behind Trump the last one on his left. It appears they would have had line of sight to the shooter on the roof.
