Theory No More, Part One: Frien-emies
The American and Chinese contributions to build a new, world order.
This series is not meant to be a complete picture of every debacle in the past 20 years. This is a manageable, easy-to-digest overview of how those debacles happened and worked together.
Every reader is strongly encouraged to explore these connections themselves and draw even wider inference.
It is intended to highlight the wider incursion of the People’s Republic of China into American institutions of global consequence, and begins with an impossibly devastating realization.
Ye Jianming and Hunter Biden
Since his 2018 arrest, much attention has been cast toward one of Hunter Biden’s past business partners, Ye Jianming. Ye was arrested in 2018 by the Chinese government while under investigation for tax crimes and corruption.
His background has been explored at length by many news outlets and independent journalists like Natalie Winters and Raheem Kassam of National Pulse, though with little attention from mainstream mass-distribution media.
Just months before Reuters reported on Ye Jianming’s corruption case, a filing to admit Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) information was filed against Chinese businessman Patrick Ho in February 2018.
Patrick Ho was the man referred to by Hunter Biden as “the f***ing spy chief of China,” and was Ye Jianming’s business partner at CEFC.
Hunter agreed to provide counsel to Ho’s defense in the Southern District of New York for one million dollars in late 2017.
A few months before Ho’s arrest, Russian oil company Rosneft CEO, Igor Sechin, said as far back as September 2017 that they had signed a deal with CEFC and was also later accused of assisting Iran evade sanctions to access capital.
The Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, interestingly enough, had recently co-organized a public seminar with Hong Kong's Maritime Silk Road Society on “Iran and the Belt and Road…” only months before Patrick Ho was arrested.
This wasn’t the first encounter Hunter and Joe Biden’s orbit had with Iran, however, recalling back to 2009 and scandal involving Hunter and Jim Biden’s Paradigm Global advisors and a Manhattan skyscraper.
Hunter’s agreement to represent Ho was signed after Ho’s arrest in December 2017. The February 2018 court filing to allow FISA evidence against Ho would indicate the FISA warrant being active during the time Hunter Biden was in contact with Patrick Ho following his arrest, and possibly while CEFC were exploring business prospects with Rosneft.
We can surmise that federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York are at least privy to private audio recordings of Hunter Biden speaking with the “f***ing spy chief of China,” regardless whether they received a copy of the laptop, itself.
We can also deduct that there would likely be conversations captured by the FISA warrant between China’s Patrick Ho and Ye Jianming that would likely give insight to Iran’s alleged seeking to evade sanctions.
Keeping Context
The events leading to here in the story took place while Joe Biden was Vice President, John Kerry was Secretary of State, Rajiv Shah (founder of Latitude Capital, Gates Foundation director, Rockefeller Foundation president) served as Administrator of USAID, and Carter Center CEO Paige Alexander was heading USAID in Europe and Eurasia.
Once the NIH paused funding for gain-of-function research in 2014, the then-Vice President’s son and then-Secretary of State’s stepson, along with the State Department’s USAID stepped in to fund the sister for-profit companies (Metabiota and EcoHealth Alliance) of nonprofit contractors, Global Viral Forecasting and Wildlife Trust, respectively.
Old Silk Road = New Belt and Road
The glaring issue on everyone’s minds except the mainstream media is Ukraine, but nearly exclusively in regards to the generational conflict in the region.
Ye Jianming joined the Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) in 2016. The MSRS is a foundation that was established in 2016 to support China’s “Belt and Road Initiative.” Here is a video outlining in detail their objectives (with a heavy focus on activating global youth).
In the inaugural speech, Co-chair of the Executive Committee, Mrs. Regina Ip explained in part:
“In the course of enhancing trade, cross-border e-commerce will flourish along with traditional trade and business. The technology sector as well as small and medium enterprises would also benefit.”
In a document titled, “Analysis of China's "One Belt, One Road" Strategy: Advantages, challenges and countermeasures,” the Society lays out a comprehensive approach for tackling future obstacles of the ambitious project.
Advisors of Maritime Silk Road Society
Acting in a role as special advisor for the Maritime Silk Road Society, Ye was linked to every person of consequence as it pertains to Hong Kong's role within the “Belt and Road Initiative.”
Many of the people within the Society are members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Committee, or CPPCC. Below are pages 10 and 11 of the 2016 Maritime Silk Road Society 1st Anniversary Brochure.
Notice MSRS’ reach and influence into the PRC’s governing bodies, financial institutions, and even academia — only looking at the panel of advisors to the Society.
When Hunter failed his Navy Reserves drug test in mid-2013, John Kerry and USAID were helping Ukraine reform its courts, which happened to be in the nick of time for the upcoming Maidan Revolution, of which USAID also passively participated.
The Belt and Road initiative was announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping from Kazakhstan on September 7, 2013, while the U.S. was — wittingly or not — fomenting a revolution in Ukraine at the hands of John Kerry and ex-Gates Foundation director, Rajiv Shah.
Ironically, USAID was employing the assistance of Michigan State University in one of these Ukrainian court programs which, as you’ll see throughout the series, points to something larger at play in the state of Michigan.
Ukraine signed a four-year, $30 billion incentive toward mainly agriculture, aircraft manufacturing, and mortgage programs. The pledge looked to make Ukraine the main supplier of corn to China.
Joe was named by President Obama as unofficial “point man” in Asia just prior.
And yet days after that, Hunter Biden landed the business arrangement with Ye Jianming, the currently disappeared Chinese multi-billionaire.
An inpress.ua article reads:
“China will provide the National Bank of Ukraine with an export loan of $5 billion with the possibility of expanding the currency in bilateral foreign trade settlements. The parties also agreed on the entry of Chinese banks into the Ukrainian market and the opening of branches of Ukrainian banks in China…
The declaration includes more than two dozen contracts, memoranda and contracts in the financial, industrial and energy spheres worth more than $30 billion. Next year Ukraine will receive $18 billion in the form of loans and investments.”
Another fun fact within the agreement was $13 billion agreed to revitalize seaports in Russia-controlled Crimea. This was agreed to under who would soon be the outgoing Ukrainian Prime Minister, Viktor Yanukovych.
Hunter Biden was also helping Metabiota secure $30 million, technically in Series A funding, but reportedly noted themselves it was more of a growth round — a nod to founder Nathan Wolfe’s prior activity as nonprofit Global Viral before the 2014 NIH gain-of-function funding pause, as well as Metabiota’s prior work through Black and Veatch.
In February of 2016, Ukraine and China set up a formal commission on the Silk Road.
Presidents of Maritime Silk Road Society
Jonathan KS Choi, or Dr. Cai Guanshen 蔡冠深博士, is a president of the Maritime Silk Road Society.
He is the heir to a multi-billion dollar Hong Kong enterprise consisting of investment firms like Toronto-backed, SW Kingsway Group (who also has extensive influence in Australia), a seafood empire of over 5,000 restaurants, massive international real estate projects like Vietnam’s Saigon Pearl, and internationally acclaimed academic and philanthropic ventures through his own Sun Wah Group.
SW Kingway has been backed by HSBC Bank, the bank that also hosted Swiss accounts for people like Jeffrey Epstein.
In addition to Choi’s private ventures, he also holds the reigns of power, serving in both the 13th and 14th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Committees (CPPCC).
Not only is Choi influential within the communist People’s Republic, but he is a steering force of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as well, serving as a financial advisor the the president (or dean) of the Academy since 1998.
In fact, part of Choi’s philanthropy relied heavily on developing ties with Michigan State University. He was awarded an honorary doctor of humanities in 2005.
…that was connected directly to the American election company known as Konnech, whose owner’s wife is also a professor of nanomedicine at Michigan State University.
MSU alumni Lionel Ni is a father of VOiP (using computer data lines to transmit voice) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, a pioneer of cloud computing, and a global leader in blockchain and distributed data systems.
Nearly his entire academic career in China since leaving MSU has ultimately revolved around the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where he has been Dean of their Fok Yung Ting Graduate School and Provost of the university.
He is now the Founding President of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology - Guangzhou (HKUST-GZ).
HKUST is also a partner of the Maritime Silk Road Society.
Lionel Ni will also be explored later in the series as one of the men who led China’s development in cloud technology for the Belt and Road to be successful.
There would be no real need to mention most of this, were it not for the striking correlation between Chinese Academy of Science’s financial advisor, Jonathan Choi, and his academic ventures with MSU: Confucius Institute, Global Young Leaders Network, and 3e International School.
Eugene Yu is on Michigan business filings for entities named CNBrief, LLC, GY Great Lakes, LLC, and 3ed Hub, LLC, as found in my prior work, and will again be detailed later in this series.
In Closing
To wrap this up, the purpose of this series, broadly, will be to highlight clear coordination between the central Chinese government and the American power establishment — which includes politicians and transnational corporations that are clearly connected to both the U.S. and Chinese governments.
***THE IDENTITY OF THIS “YE JIANMING” CANNOT BE CORROBORATED AS THE SAME HUNTER BIDEN BUSINESS PARTNER AT THIS TIME***
Ye Jianming, with the ear of the Vice President, and Jonathan Choi were both part of the 13th and 14th People’s Political Consultative Committee, and had both been active in political consultation, confirmed since at least 1997.
Yes — The Konnech data breach saga is connected to the Hunter Biden fiasco in a round-about way. Konnech will have its own role in this series.
The better way to put it is:
“Are the Bidens connected to anything that doesn’t subvert the United States?”
I write these not entirely to single out China and Hunter Biden. This is much deeper and more complex than one would imagine. Somehow, at the exact same time, it’s also much simpler than it may appear.
***For a sidenote example, I discovered this curious tidbit whilst rifling through profiles of individuals within the MSRS. I translated it out of curiosity.
The depth, breadth, and timeline of China’s influence, its foot soldiers, affiliations, and grip on the world writ large is stunning. Michigan’s university is a great cover for the techno ties between the US deep state and the CCP. I wonder which one taught the other, or are they both being directed by the same Master. Joe Biden is getting inside information from a hidden source since day one. Someone is directing him on where and when his riches will be available. Who is that someone? Kerry? Soros? Someone we have never heard of?
Wow, this is really incredible, and I can't wait to read the next post in the series.
